I really, really like windows. I actually asked Mom when we were building the house if we could add another window to the room, and that’s how the window to the far left came about. Plus, we purposely positioned it so my table for my coffee could fit right in-between them. The curtains are also really special because I inherited them from my grandma. 

As you can see I still have my chair and my little shelf/stand in the same positioning as in my old office. I like the familiarity. What I didn’t get any pictures of is to the left there’s a little nook where my desk fits perfectly. We built that on purpose, too. 🙂

I am so very happy with my office! It’s just what I dreamed of. I especially like my crate of stuffed animals. 😉 Stuffed animals are the best. Basically everything you see in this picture has at least some memory or bit of significance attached to it. That’s why I have such a hard time getting rid of anything. I’m a sentimental person. (No, really?)

Beautiful, isn’t it? We’ve had this love-seat for years and I have thought it was the best. It’s so, so comfortable. I started asking years ago if I could have it in my room, but since my office was so small it didn’t work out. So, when I found out we were moving I asked again… And this time Mom said yes! Oh, joy! The door to the left is to the closet, and the door to the right is out into the hall.
