Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

I awoke to a beautiful snowy morning and a very busy day ahead of me. I adore this time of year, the weather, the memories, the time spent with family… Yet for some reason, I’ve also been rather stressed. Probably because this is also a very busy time of year. 😉 Listen and reading the Bible really helps me when I’m feeling stressed.

I thought today would be a great day to share some amazing verses with y’all. Maybe if you’re going through a hard time, overwhelmed with your busy life, or just in need of some encouragement (which, by the way, everyone is 🙂 then these verses will be just what you’re looking for:

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. – John 14:27

For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. -2 Timothy 1:12b

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. -Philippians 4:4-9

Novel wanting to play fetch with me – that’s her ball at the edge of the pic ^.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. -Colossians 3:15-16

Aren’t those wonderful? I’m so thankful for the Bible. This year it’s really begun meaning a lot more to me than previous years. I’m also thankful for all y’all who read my blog. Really, I am.

And now I’m off to clean the house… What’s on your plate for today? Business? Also, what are some of your favorite verses?
