Three Months/New Look

Three months, you all. I’ve had this blog for three months now… 
For some reason it seems like it’s been longer. 






 When I started writing, kidding season had just begun, and I was spending a substantial amount of time up in the goat barn. Those were some crazy days where I didn’t get as much stuff done away from the barn as I did in the barn. Now, kidding season is over and the kids are old enough that they only have to be feed twice a day. We’ve also sold a lot, so my only responsibility in the goat barn – as of now – is milking twice a day. Believe me, it’s a relief!





The land around here was filled with leaf-less trees and gray, dreary colors. There wasn’t much snow to melt, but with the rain we had it was muddy enough.  


 I enjoy that kind of weather, but it’s always fun to watch the landscape blossom into soft, spring colors and then slowly transform into the vibrant hues of summer. 
Daffodils are some of my favorite flowers. We have an old abandoned homestead near us, hidden in the woods that have grown up around the house, and every year seemingly hundreds of the beautiful flowers spring up among the falling down buildings. 

And now I’ve been cutting grass for a while, and I look out my window to see bright green with splashes of warming sunlight poking through. And best of all, it isn’t too hot. =) 

 As you have probably noticed, I changed my blog around some. I figured it would be fun to spruce it up a little, and make it bright and spring/summery looking. How do you like it?


So, I’m wondering. Do any of you have questions for me? I know I haven’t written a great deal amount of information about myself (at least I don’t feel as if I have…), so if you want to leave a comment with some questions, I’ll try to answer them.
